Here is my fanpage for all the bad guys at Wentworth Detention
Centre for the Aussie series Prisoner: Cell Block H. Loss
of priveleges from Bea and Doreen!
The storylines in Prisoner were often very gripping and sometimes
quite hard hitting. The script writers dared to attempt
(successfully) a wide range of storylines long
before other series' had thought about it.
Towards the end of the show, although an odd few storylines were repeated and
polished up slightly they were still incredibly realistic -
due to the excellent acting skills from the cast.
Never forget Kay White 25 years of stupid wigs and evil men! The
men are always bad to the women, rapists, pimps, molesters and
all round manipulators!
So this site is dedicated to the husbands that gambled away their
wives wages and then forced them to get a job as a stripper or take
part in a foolbrained illegal act such as when
Doug
wanted Lynn to do the bank job, he died and she ended up back in
Wentworth with all envitability!
So enjoy your experience here at this site or Jock Stewart will
force you to work in his massage parlour (wearing a ridiculous wig)
and then go after that
wee girly of yours as you re-enter the walls of Wentworth...

2001 on Channel 5 and we've had a nice break from the series...
but we want it back fdgfg rrt rrron our screens again 776
7867rgfthis year!
Bring Back Prisoner to British Television! Yes we want our
old aussie soaps on UKTV! Put Prisoner Cell Block H on BBC-1
and ITV-2 and E4 and Men & Motors! Yeah give me PCBH Now!
Run a new episode every nite on the Swedish Channel and I'll
bolt a satellite dish onto the side of my house so I can watch
reruns of MASH and The BlackAdder!
The early episodes had an enourmous impact. The series was the second
most popular show in the 1979 National Top 10. (A year
later it was still in that chart but at number 8.) Australian actresses
whose faces werenÕt their fortunes fell over themselves to be part of
it, so rare was it that a soapÕs script did not require most of
the characters to Ôget their gear offÕ and prance around a swimming
pool. And the roles of murderers, armed robbers, poisoners or conwomen
were obviously more meaty than those they were
usually offered Ð housewives and mums.
So what? PCBH rules forever! Visit our Story
Page for further fun and help us pretend
that the show is still in production!
Prisoner Cell Block H is better than Bad Girls. Although we all love Mr Fenner don't we?
too bad he's dead! I guess the guy who played him is Jack Ellis brother of Poldark Robin.
He came back this I hear from someone allegedly when they gave him a truck full of cash! So
he could pay off the mortgage, kids school fees etc.... Fenner great guy just like
Jock Stewart, Len Murphy, Frank Whatever his name was I for get in this heat! But Dennis
Cruikshank just a wet wimp I had a good laugh when Inspector Grace got his boys to rough him
up over that child murder business....God Cruikshank was the sickest bastard ever!
When Betty Bobbitt (Judy Bryant) turned up in crutches after a fall on her path at home, the writers had to work on a mishap so she could hobble around on-screen so it wouldn't affect any of the major storylines at the time.
